We are extremely glad that you have decided to visit us! Below you can find some commonly asked questions that will hopefully help as you arrive on our campus. Please visit our In-Worship Plan to find out what we have in place to keep you and everyone else safe during our current situation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our church office at (706)742-2921. We would be glad to help you in any way we can.
When are the services?
We have Sunday School that starts at 9:30 a.m. We have a number of classes and one of our ushers will greet you at the door and will be glad to direct you to the one that fits you and your family. Our Worship Service begins at 10:50 a.m. in our Sanctuary which is located on the second floor.
What do I wear?
We are not focused on how you dress. We have some who come in suits, business casual, and jeans and collared shirts. We are just excited that you have decided to worship with us.
Where do I park?
Physical address: 305 N.Church Street, Winterville, GA 30683
We have two entrances, one off N. Church Street and the other off N. Main Street by our sign. Once you enter the parking lot, we have two main entrances. The upper parking area has a side entrance that leads you right into our sanctuary. The other main entrance is through our double glass doors in our lower parking lot which leads you right to the kids area.
Where Do I Take My Kids?
On the first floor, right inside the double glass doors you will find the check in station for our kids ministry. All kids, babies through 5th grade, will be able to check in and then we will be glad to direct you to their appropriate classes. You will want to make sure to hang on to your security sticker for when you pick them up afterwards.
Following Sunday School, 1st-4th graders will meet for our Kids Worship service. Babies through kindergarten have their designated classrooms. If your child was checked in during Sunday School, they will not have to be checked in again. If you were not able to make it to Sunday School, we will help you get them checked in and to the right room so you can make it upstairs for the worship service.
In our nursery and preschool we offer animal crackers, goldfish, and water for a snack. We do our best to be peanut free. However if your child has an allergy or requires a special snack, you are welcome to bring it and just let our volunteers know when you drop them off in their class.
Who Is Taking Care Of My Kids?
We take the safety and security of your child very seriously. Every one of our volunteers have submittted to and been approved with a background check. They have also agreed to abide by our child protection policy and our nursery and preschool policies. You can find a copy of both of those documents below.
Fifteen minutes after our worship service begins, we close and lock the doors that lead into our nursery and preschool hallway for the safety of our little ones. However, if you need to access your child you will find a doorbell at the entrance of the hallway. Please remember to hold on to the security sticker so you are able to pick them after the service.
