Preschool Director: |
This is Mrs. Claire’s first year as the Director of Winterville First Baptist Preschool. She is a retired educator with 35 years teaching experience at the primary age. She taught 30 years in Oglethorpe County School System in Kindergarten and First Grade she also subbed Pre-K through Second Grade. Recently, she was one of the teachers in our preschools Lion Class. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s degree in early childhood education and a Specialist’s degree in Teaching and Learning.

Assistant Director: |
This is Mrs. Kathy’s first year as the Assistant Director. She is married to Matt Smith who is the Bi-vocational preacher at Stevens Grove Baptist Church and a mechanical engineer for Royston LLC. They have two children. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University. She was the assistant teacher in the three year old Bear Class for the past two years and she was a substitute teacher in Bulloch County before her family moved back home. |
