Girls in Action is a missions organization designed for girls between 1st and 6th grade.
In GA's, we focus on teaching a biblical worldview with an emphasis on missions and the life of missionaries. We teach girls to learn how to share God's love with others and we work to help them grow spiritually in understanding God and His plan and purpose for our lives.
Backpacks for Appalachia
Our WFBC GAs went shopping on Saturday, October 8 to purchase items to go into some of the backpacks we will send to Appalachia. Several girls enjoyed shopping with Mrs. Brenda. They filled fifteen!
Wednesday, November 2 is the date for our whole church to come and help. The time Will be 6:30 PM.
Valentine's Day Cakes for Widows
On Sunday, February 14th our GAs presented the Widows in our church with Valentines cakes that were homemade and decorated especially for them as a part of our Women's Ministry Widows Ministry. This project was to celebrate Children's Ministry Day by showing our love to these special ladies. The GAs had a wonderful time of fellowship and fun.
